GAS REBATE CREDIT CARDS

Some gas rebate credit cards offer refunds of 5% and more on gas purchases. But you can surf the Internet until you’re blue in the face as you try to figure out an ocean full of credit card offers.
Or you can do it the easy way and go to Centrro credit card search to Get a credit card with Gas Rewards! Centrro is constantly searching for, and finding the best gas rewards credit card offers on the Net, and more. Best of all, there are no charges for their services.
Of course there’s always a catch, and when it comes to credit cards of any kind there are several.
Credit card companies make money two ways. First, they charge merchants a small percentage for the use of the card. Second, they charge customers interest on unpaid balances, often lots of interest.
The big catch for you as a credit card customer is to make sure you pay off your balance every month. Otherwise you’ll end up paying a whole lot of interest for any rebate you get.
Many gas rebate credit cards have rebate limit periods; the rebates end after the first 6 months or so that you have the
card. Others may require you to use the card on other purchases before the rebates kick in. In fact, there are seemingly endless kinds of special conditions that may be attached to a rebate.
Rebates are usually set up in a secondary account that requires you to make a formal request to receive your earnings. That can often be done online but it’s one of those easy-to-forget kinds of things. And if you do forget, a number of credit card companies will start taking back the earnings after a period of time; which completely trashes your effort to get gas cheap.
Whenever you see a credit card you’re interested in, be sure to read and understand the fine print – all of it.
You also need to be careful about getting too many credit cards. Credit rating services watch credit card user habits. Getting too many credit cards, or getting several cards in a short period like, say, a year, can harm your credit rating.
That being understood it makes good sense to use the gas rebate credit cards. So many people use credit cards that almost every merchant in the U.S. adds in an extra 3% or so to cover credit card expenses.
Using a credit card to get a rebate is a bit like getting a cash discount that you should be entitled to if you pay cash. But virtually nobody gives cash discounts anymore. In today’s topsy-turvy finance world, about the only way to get a cash discount is to use a credit card.
